This is NOT plug & Play. Windows thinks it is a CD-RW not as a DVD-RW Dual Layer described. The “Driver” disc that came with it was in some Asian language that Google could not even translate. It is a useless piece of plastic and Amazon should be ashamed to sell this as this is my second attempt at this with a different seller. Neither worked and Asian is not my native language. Amazon was no help and neither were either sellers. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Sorry to say this External Drive was hopefully defective and not the way it was meant to be. I tried this External Drive with my ASUS eee 1005HA and it was not reconzied, then tried it with my laptop Toshiba and it didn’t work there either. Check the ports configurations and download drivers, but nothing work for this external drive to be reconzied by any computer, even tried with the work computer and nothing. I have to return and get a refund. Don’t recommended.
