Peripheral / PAC IS710 5 Volt Charging Adapter for iPod/iPhone
I use my I phone to play stored music to my pro Alpine radio 9887 & also in my 2010 Nissan Morono. Both places with 2 separate wires which I purchased give noise and static and my I phone shows a display that this item is not optomized for the i phone… I would like to return the product…. What do I need for a return? Thank you Larry Hacken

Cable is of high quality, but unfortunately, didn’t work with the setup in my Mini (OEM IPod hookup)

This product works exactly as described. I would prefer it to be a constructed a bit smaller as it is pretty bulky compared to a normal dock connector but it’s not that big of a deal. I found this cable/adapter to be a much better solution to the charging issue than the other adapters that look like a small block added to the end of a dock connector. I would buy this product again.

I purchased this after I discovered my new (to me) 2008 Mercedes Benz c300′s iPod connector went no further than the glove compartment. I was also dismayed to discover that the Mercedes connector did not charge my iPhone when plugged in.
This cable solved both problems. It provides adequate length to extend beyond the interior of the glove compartment into the bottom of my iPhone which is mounted on one of the a/c vents. Simply plug the MB cable into the female end of the cord and attach the other end to the iPod/iPhone. It will immediately start charging your iPhone/iPod. What’s more, I had full device control (well, as full as MB allows) through the steering wheel / dash interface. Sound quality is great and I detect no noise or distortion.
My only complaint is that the cable is a bit loose at the connection point to the phone. It doesn’t snap in, so it is possible to accidentally knock it out of the phone.

Somewhere the design staff thought it would be a great idea to make this cable look like the “High End” products like Monster Cables. The connector and cable are larger than life! It is hard to stay on the the Ipod and will probably break the Ipod connector in time. I will abandon this setup as soon as I can replace it.
