I’m assuming this game system would still be as much fun as it was when I was a kid 20 years ago. However I only received the console and the controller, the games (Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt)never arrived, nor did the Zapper. When I tried to see if the seller could be contacted, so I could find out if they could possibly send the missing items out to me (I assumed it was just a mistake), Amazon said the seller could not be contacted and that I could send back the whole system if I wanted to. Talk about lousy customer service, the seller wasn’t even given a chance to fix the problem, and I had already bought other games I was playing on the system. I don’t plan on using Amazon to buy anything again.

This item arrived in good shape, and was easy to understand and set up, however the graphics were poor, and deteriorated further when the unit warmed up. Hopefully it is the cartridge and not the unit itself, which I will find out whenever I purchase another game cartridge for it.

I purchased this item from the seller Electric Eye Candy Comics & Games, and it was all downhill from there. I e-mailed three times in the 11 days since the purchase, only to ask if it had even been shipped. All of my e-mails went unanswered, and the item remained unshipped. The amount for the product was taken off of my card without notice to me, and the order was canceled at my request, but still, without a single word of communication or explanation from the seller. The item is listed with the product name as NES, 2 controllers, Mario/Duck, etc., but the description the seller gives in the fine print is that you receive a random game, and only one controller. I would recommend steering clear of this seller.

with reviews like he got, i won’t dare order from him–i can’t say he gives a rip about his customers considering what the last two reviewers said… so, i WAS going to buy from him, but thanks to them mentioning he was a nasty sort to question, I DON’T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!! Mario and duckhunt are the only ones who get the FIVE STARS!!!!!

My son really wanted this game because the previous one we picked-up at a yard sale stopped functioning properly. I thought the price charged was very reasonable and we received it within a matter of days, with all the components promised and in excellent working condition. I have nothing but good things to say about this seller and his product.
