I was buying these by the box at my local store and was a little leary about buying them online after reading some of the reviews, but figured I’ve never had an issue with Amazon, so I thought I’d give it a try and am so glad I did! I received exactly what was advertised – a pack of 12 boxes – A much better cost quality than buying one at a time and I won’t have to worry about needing filters for a loooong time! Thanks!!

Ok- just for clarity- when you order ONE of these- you will get twelve packs of coffee filters. Each pack has 40 filters.
Total number of filters= 12 packs * 40 filters/pack = 480 filters.
This was my expectation (title seems fairly clear to me) and that’s what I received.

You could use generic Melitta style #4 filters (far cheaper, available from the grocery store) and cut them down to work with the type of coffee maker, since the one-cup coffee makers have smaller baskets, and the disposable filters prevent chronic fouling and buildup.
However, this requires one to REMEMBER to buy them on trips to the store (and I’d just keep forgetting to do so). I rationalized that the expense was worth it because 1) it will take me a long time to go through the case, given my 1/day use, 2) it was worth it to me to always have them on hand and 3) some days I just didn’t want to hassle with the cutdown (but that’s a very minor issue since you can easily cut down a week’s worth of filters at once).
Additionally: shipping for the case is free with Super Saver Shipping -& I can always find something else to buy on Amazon to make a $[...] purchase(use Amazon Filler Item Finder to do so! [...]).

I read some people didn’t get everything as expected and was concerned I may not get all 12 boxes. I got everything. The filters are great – very, very small but fit into my new one cup coffee maker.
