Sadly it seems that my iLuv is dead on arrival. I put the batteries in and clicked the power button, but no lights, no sound — nothing. I’m sure amazon will replace it but not before I leave for a trip tomorrow. Disappointing.

Nice Sound, but has the dreaded Blue LED Power Lite.
I use this with my iPhone (works with iPod also) to listen to talk radio.
The Good:
Nice Sound, Uses 3 AAA batteries (Rayovac Hybrid rechargeables are working fine).
The Bad:
Manufactured in Communist China.

Not load at all. this speaker is small and compact and easy to pack with you, but does not put out a lot of volume. Size of the speaker matches the volume.

Ok, don’t understand the good ratings on this junk. Why junk? Because it broke after one listening – the one to make sure it worked upon opening the box. 1 month later on my trip to Puerto Rico the thing went off making scratchy noises and beeps and wouldn’t shut down until I pulled the batts. Good thing I wasn’t going thru security; they might have shot me!
EEK (appropriately named BTW) advised: sorry, see the manufacturer; warranty only good 30 days. They’ll now probably drop it to 24 hrs.
How was the sound before it broke out of the box..not good, the x- minis are far and away a better deal as is the sony SRS T88.
Don’t make a mistake by buying this nasty stuff.
Oh, fortunately, the hotel I stayed at in PR had an Apple clock docking station for my iTouch..saved the day!
