How to take six toddlers grocery shopping?
For a daycare thing, my mom has to take 6 kids from 1 year- 2 years grocery shopping. Should she put the kids in the large part of the cart? She will have one other adult helping her.
she has a day care and doesn’t know how to take care of children ???
Ahh.. I hate taking one of my nephews grocery shopping! I want this! Give me that! AHHHH!
Have one adult push one cart with all of the kids in it, and have the other push a cart with groceries.
Tell your Mom I said goodluck!
Buy an Australian Kelpie sheep dog…..It will keep them in one tight flock….they are amazing!
I see it all the time but it is not recommended.
get one cart full of the kids with an adult helping and another cart with the food, ur mom pushing that one.
A leash. No Joke.
why does she have to take them with her? why can’t your mom go grocery shopping and leave the kids with the other adult. It will take a lot less time without a bunch of toddlers complaining or crying or begging for a toy that catches their attention.
on a side note: does she even have enough car seats for all 6 of them?
Maybe put them all in 2 carts then push at the same time. Keep ‘em away from the sweets section.
if you get the carts at wal-mart that have the 2 seats in the front, you can also put one in the regular child seat….fitting 3 kids per cart, all with seat belts.
My wife won’t even take our 3 toddlers grocery shopping.
I had a 6 seat baby buggy with safety harnesses in each seat, Very handy for field trips. It was called the Bye bye buggy by angles. it had terraced seats so all could see.
Two kids in a row and three rows. and a 7th baby seat for a reclining baby on the handles.
6 children that small in a store unsecured is a hazard to the children.
she had better keep the trip very short at a very quiet time and be very alert.
She needs another adult, so the ratio is two children to one adult. A hand for each of the kids.
She might ask one of the ‘rents to come along.
When they are a bit older and steady on their feet, like 2 and 3, you can teach them to buddy up in 3 lines of 2 and hold hands through the store.
I also taught my baby crew “Hands in” which meant they stuck their hands into their pockets and ‘Look with your eyes’
I could take them through a china shop with no worries after a bit of training.
There is also the long rope that they all can hold and you put loops every foot or so and they hold on to that.
Very cute.
Hmmmm, same way you teach them how to cross the street. Holding hands.
