Looked all over for a wooden suet cake holder for woodpeckers, without harmful and sharp wire mesh, plus with a tail rest. This one is about all I could find at a fair price. Well, the Flickers and Starlings use it, including the tail rest! Only reason it is not a five star is it loads bottom side up, so when you open it, if you have any residue of an old suet cake, it falls down. Or if you load one side, the other side falls out. You have to take it down to load. One opener was bent when shipped, but I fixed it. Minor problem for the sake of the birds!
