Well Halo 2 the game of games, or more like the flop of games. I loved halo 1, its the reason I bought an Xbox, and it blew me away. Infact I still own it, its huge levels the weapons the enemy and the story the multiplayer, wow how come nobody thought of this before, it made bungie a well knowen company to the average joe. It made legions of fans, fans that would end friendships over the honor of the game, now the wait is finally over, will you defeat the covenant, what happens to the flood, and what will happen to earth, with hopes of finding this out I rushed to reserve the game, then my hopes were lifted even more by the first few levels, dual weapons, urban combat, new vehicles, new covenant. I find out the covenant get to earth and there are more halos and even the marines are there again(the black sargent is back?) Well from the start the game action is kind of slow and ammo is rare for human weapons but you blow away the bad guys with dual weapons, a huge attack on earth keeps you busy and the covenant are running, than the problems, great graphics and sweet sound but the vehicles dont drive as smooth and I have to ditch my machine guns cause no ammo, then bam the covenant retreat and you follow, then all of a sudden after only a few levels you are at another halo, wait I already did the halo thing, whats happining on earth? Well The missions are the same stop the bad guys from killing everyone with halo. Wow not much else, you get to play as a covenant, but you mission is the same stop the bad guys from activating halo, you get to play more as the covenant and see more action with him than you do with master chief, you dont even defeat the covenant or the flood or save earth, but you do get back to earth, but you dont fight, you just end up there, and even more questions show up, are you ever actually going to defeat any one, and will earth actually be saved by you or will the war carry on so long that every one gets bored and just goes home, I guess you should at least rent it, you will beat it in a week, guarenteed, and dont believe the hype of halo 3, at least there better be a halo 3 or something, if there is no halo 3 then this is a crapper game then I thought it was.

I am not a kid but this is the only review section I could get into. I pre-ordered 2 of these on September 5th for system link play. They arrived today. People up in arms about the delivery date off by a day or two need to get a job or a life or both. People who give reviews about something before they have seen it are pure idiots. The only reason I put a rating on this was because the review required it. I used 5 stars to compensate for other reviews. Yes I am looking forward to playing this also since I just bought a new 70″ high def widescreen XBR, (quite a switch from playing pong on a black and white tv, that was my first system) but there will be plenty of time for that, I have more interesting things to do right now. And yes, I will order from Amazon again.

I hated this game! If you by it you would want to take a hammer and crush it! Thats what I did. I could sit here all day long telling you how bad it is so I will stop right here!

This is the worst video game ever. Why would anyone in the right mind purchuse this item. its like like purchusing foul talking and bloody action in your home. I as a mother will not buy this. but my 15year old son did. and it changed our house it is so evil.
