Springfield 5 1/4 inch Dial Thermometer
This device has large numbers so it can be read at quite a distance. You can also adjust the setting. For example, if it’s actually 70 degrees, but the thermometer reads 65, rotate the spring clip on the rear so the dial reads 70.
The problem with ours was that when it was correct at 70, it read 40 when it was actually 30 degrees outside. If it was adjusted to read 30 when it was 30, it would then say 60 when it was actually 70 degrees.
Being 10 degrees off between 30 and 70 renders this product useless. Unfortunately, I had discarded the packaging it came in, so it couldn’t be returned; so, we threw it out.
