This seems to work fine, although having to take the iPod out of its case is inconvenient.
I have not used it very much because I gave the iPod video back to my husband and went back to my mini. Then I got a Nano and I haven’t bought a mic for it yet.

This thing is good for casual use, but has a few issues with the software interface. (I think) overall a good product though.

5G stands for 5th generation and ipod video is the 5th generation in the ipod line.Accessories for ipod video are different from other ipods.Therefore the accessories specifically mention that it’s compatible with 5G/video.I’ll write a review for this item once i’ve recieved it.

This particular Belkin product is at most sufficient. It’s hard to keep it connected to activate record status. It eventually gets what you need done, however if one must use it in a conference or timed setting it could pose problems.

The product is working perfectly. The packing was good, however there are some scratches on the surface of product. Can I refund or exchange it? What can I do?
It should be a brand new product, isn’t it?
