Watch out, everybody, Alone in the Dark 4 is NOT Playstation2. I have a new PS2 which, believe it or not, I chose over XBox and GameCube in order to play AITD4 (as a start). I failed to notice that AITD4 is for old Playstation. Yesterday, a week or two afer I ordered the console and preordered AITD4… I read someplace that Playstation games do not save on PS2 memory cards. AITD4 has just gotten a lot more expensive. In fact, I don’t know how to get old Playstation memory. I wonder if it’s even available.
I have looked forward to this game for a year now. I love the series. I give Infogrames one star for writing for an obsolete system.

I give Infogrames one star for the originality of the AITD series–and it ends there. I feel that this franchise is as played out as their horribly bland ‘Test Drive’ series. And although I understand Infogrames grasping for their piece of the pie crust by trying to make due with what little they have, they seem to have lacked the foresight in spending too many years developing a grossly mediocre game for a now outdated system. I’ve played the beta, don’t buy it.

This game is the best i love it I thoght at the first of the game when aline meet that old woman that was scary the whole game is creepy i love games like this so if u like scary games go out and buy it you wont be sorry
